Soundscape Voice Evidence is an independent consultancy based at Lancaster University, specialising in the forensic analysis of recorded speech. Services include comparing voices to address speaker identity and transcribing poor-quality audio recordings. Soundscape is independent and takes instructions from, among others, police forces and legal teams from across the UK and internationally.

Soundscape was established in April 2019 by Dr Christin Kirchhübel who has substantial experience as a forensic speech scientist and expert witness. Throughout her career, Christin has acted on her legal interests and is a fully qualified barrister (non-practising).
